Wage differentials are both one of the causes and consequences of inter-regional development differences in a country. In this study, the existence of wage differentials among 26 NUTS-2 regions in terms of labour demand employer was investigated by using ISKUR 2018 full-time private-sector job vacancy posts. According to the results, while the highest wage level is found in TR10 Istanbul 1.663 TL and TR51 Ankara 1.639 TL regions; the lowest wage level is found in TRC3 Mardin 1.605 TL and TR82 Kastamonu 1.604 TL regions. The highest wage in the agricultural sector is in TRC2 Şanlıurfa region due to the high wage policy, the highest wages in other sectors are paid in TR10 region. Foreign language knowledge which is the most demanded feature by the employer, increases the average wage level by 9.5%, experience seniority/job experience by 7.2% and facilities provided by employers such as food/transportation by 5.9%, respectively. In the ISCO-08 occupational level, the regional wage difference is at least 12TL for the Manual Worker General the highest 280TL for the Call Center Customer Representative. Despite these differences, the effect of regional differences in the formation of wages was found to be limited; high wage policies were found to be more effective
