ABSTRACT
This article deals with social policies for the old. Firstly, what social policies for the old are, and the reasons for need to these policies, then the applications of social policies for the old will be mentioned. Eventually social policies for the old are examined in terms of Sweden, Germany, UK, and Italy with respect to their different welfare regimes
