ABSTRACT
Unemployment has become the most essentialproblem around the world because of the implemented economicpolicies, privatizations, declination of the trade unions and in searchof a cheap labor of multinational corporations since 1980s. Turkeyhas affected by these progresses and faced with increasingunemployment issue starting from the same year, 1980s.Unemployment causes some negative developments in terms ofsocial structure in the countries. In this study, in order to reach thereal unemployment rate, unemployment rates are calculated, in termsof those who give up looking for a job, work seasonally etc
