ABSTRACT
In this study, the mediating effect of the security climate between organizational commitment and emotional labor on the subcontracted labourers is investigated. The study consists of three parts. In the first part, general information about subcontracting in health sector is given. In the second section, information about variables is given. The third part consists of the methods and results of the study. The universe of the study consists of subcontractor workers working in public hospitals in Ordu. The data were collected through questionnaires and 356 questionnaires were found to be worth evaluating. The SPSS program was used for the analysis of the data. Firstly, the relations between the variables were examined with correlation analysis. The SPSS program with PROCESS macro Model 4 was used to test the hypotheses regarding the mediation effects. In the analyzes, a significant relationship was found between all variables, also determined that the security climate partially mediated the relationship between organizational commitment and emotional labor
