ABSTRACT
Changes brought in today and inevitably faced with globalization, which leads to many problems and inequalities with negative effects alongside the positive aspects of the regulation of the labor market. The concept of decent work, intentionally made to remedy these problems the International Labour Organisation ILO has been identified as a target of 87 Labour Conference, which was made in 1999. In this context, the ILO’s “World of Work Report,” according to the quality and economy that creates decent jobs, compared to the emerging economies exhibit higher growth every year. Turkey, a point especially after the 2008 crisis in the quality of working life with the deterioration of the global economic balance entered a troubled period of more intense every year. Especially in recent years, the construction sector, the economic and political sense, is not on the agenda, orientation towards the construction sector in terms of economic growth, informal prevalence of economic activity, is that the nature and about the ownership of information is not restricted work environment with the sector, greater importance for this sector of the business concept of decent that will be revealed. This work, decent work in the context of the concept aims to evaluate Turkey’s construction sector workforce. The study used descriptive writing using quantitative data. In conclusion examined the construction sector in Turkey in the business context of decent employment within the business concept of decent components, study fundamental rights to life, situation analysis of the construction sector in the framework of social protection and social dialogue is conducted. According to these results, informal employment, unionization rates, working hours, work accidents, benefit from collective agreements and monthly average earnings data for the construction industry in terms of appearance in Turkey, has emerged as a problem area in terms of the business concept of decent work
