ABSTRACT
Psychosocial risks, compared to other risk groups, the lesser-known area of occupational health and safety. Increasing workload, working hours and the pace of work, cause many negative effects on employees in today’s worklife. These negative effects also results some unintended consequences such as low organizational commitment and absenteeism. The new Turkish occupational health and safety law 6631 , has made it mandatory to carry out risk assessment in enterprises for the purpose of taking preventive measures. Documentation and guidelines on psychosocial risk assessment is quite limited. This paper aims to identify the factors that prevents the full evaluation of pscyhosocial risks and discuss possible solutions
