ABSTRACT
Trade Union Act no. 2821 which has been in force for approximately 30 years was abolished by the Trade Union and Collective Labour Agreement Act no. 6356 on the date of 7 November 2012. The new act tries to include the issue of acceptance to and resignation from trade union membership by forming a new system. In the new act, security of trade union membership is regulated upon the discrimination among the work places as being under the scope of job security or not. In this study, the regulation of trade union membership security system of the new act is evaluated
