ABSTRACT
The Code of Trade Union and Collective Bargaining numbered 6356, which came into force on 7 November 2012, ushered a new era in the collective bargaining regime. The Code has focused on the harmonisation of the regulations with European Union Law and ILO conventions, and the solution of the problems occurring in practice. The new regulations about the union guarantee are one of the most substantive changes in this direction. Within this scope, the guarantees of employee organisation executives, the trade union workplace representative and trade union freedom in general have been respectively examined by comparison with the regulations in the abolished Code numbered 2821
