ABSTRACT
The new look of digitalization in business processes is wearable technologies that can also be called wearable devices. With the use of wearable technologies in the workplace, it is ensured that the employees establish the most efficient and harmonious relationship with the production process and each other, increasing efficiency, speed and quality. However, the inevitable result of this development is that the employee is more and more closely monitored, the opportunities for intervention in the social and private life sphere increase, and the personal data are collected more than usual. Tracking the employee directly with the device he wears opens a whole new dimension in these problematic areas. In our study, in the first part, we tried to determine what wearable technologies are, and then the possible effects of using wearable technologies on the employees in the employer’s business against the protective mechanism of the labor law were evaluated
