ABSTRACT

Capitalist mode of production as a generalized commodity production commodifies everything so it is unthinkable for seeds to be out of the way. Today, it seems that the studies on seeds mainly based on capital groups companies , laws, government policies, food, agriculture etc. However, to understand this process which the laws of motion of the capitalist mode of production engraves is only possible when the concepts and categories which ables us to catch on the process are in use. This study with such approach tries to analyze the production of seeds within its historicity. While trying to show how seeds as a direct labor product converted into the simple commodity seeds and value-added commodities as the product of the capital, this study takes initial accumulation mechanism as a starting point. Thus, the study which investigates the tendencies and mechanisms of seed capitalization by the technical and social dimensions of the capital will be an invitation to consider how counter measures could be performed
