ABSTRACT
There is a distinction between main activities and auxiliary tasks carried out in a workplace in Turkish Law. This distinction is critically important in subcontractor relationship. While establishing a subcontractor relationship in main activitiy is conditional to operational requirements or acceptable reasons of technological expertise, there are no such preconditions regarding auxiliary tasks. However subcontractor relationship in auxiliary tasks must be related to the production of goods and services. Therefore, concept of “relation to the production of goods and services” must be clarified for understanding the concept of auxiliary tasks in subcontractor relationship.
