ABSTRACT
Labour Law, Trade Union and Collective Agreement Law, Social Security and General Health Insurance Law, Occupational Health and Safety Law are the essential laws shaping labour life. These laws are often dealt with in the studies taking labour life as the main focus. However, a number of legal provisions exist as well, which are not such visible, but as effective as the essential laws to shape labour life. A shift from protection to flexibility, in short insecurity, has been the case in the whole range of the laws regulating labour life, particularly in the given essential laws, for the last thirty years. This study aims to draw attention on the way of shift of laws shaping the labour life directly and on the legal provisions as well, which have substantial effects on labour life although this is not the basic intention in the first place
